How Go Smart! Works

A win-win for shoppers and local businesses. Shoppers get rewarded for honest, private feedback. Businesses learn what customers really think, and get them coming back.

Get Rewarded in 3 Easy Steps

No app to download, no account, no personal information. Just your phone.

1

Find a deal near you, then go

Search by what you want (pizza, bowling, an oil change, a haircut), by category, or by what's hottest near you. Tap 📍 Near me and we sort by distance. Every listing shows the reward up front and exactly when you'll get it.

2

Take the 2-minute survey at the business

After your meal, your service, or your visit, open the listing on your phone (or scan the Go Smart! card at the counter) and answer a few quick questions about that visit. The survey unlocks when you're at the business, so every answer is about a real experience. It's anonymous, and your words go straight to the owner.

3

Show your code, get the reward

Your 6-digit code appears on screen the moment you submit. At a restaurant, shop, salon or repair shop, show it at the register and the reward comes off today's bill. At a hotel, a bowling alley or anywhere you pay up front, your reward is for your next visit, and the code is good for weeks, not minutes.

We Set It Up. You Control It. You Pay Only When It Works.

Listing is free. We build your profile, your survey and your counter card. You pay a small fee only when a customer actually redeems a reward, which means only when the feedback was real and the customer came through your door.

1

Tell us about your business (5 minutes)

Name, location, category, the reward you want to offer, and which survey questions you want asked. The form suggests the right setup for your type of business; you can change any of it.

2

We build your listing, survey and counter card

Within one business day we create your listing, load your survey, generate your reward codes, and email your dashboard login plus a printable counter card with your QR code. There's nothing to install.

3

Customers visit, answer, and show their code

Your staff enters the code in your dashboard (or just honors it at the register) and the reward is applied. Feedback lands in your dashboard the moment it's submitted, anonymous and unfiltered.

4

Read what they really think, and watch them come back

Toggle questions on or off, change your offer, and see trends from your dashboard. For next-visit rewards, you pay only when the customer returns and redeems, so the fee is tied directly to repeat business.

The reward fits how your customers pay

Feedback is always collected after the experience. The reward lands at the next moment money changes hands. Pick the lane that matches your business (we pre-select it for you):

Checkout reward

For businesses where customers pay after the service: restaurants, cafés, grocery and retail, salons and barbers, auto repair, dentists and clinics, pet groomers, home services billed at completion.

Example: survey at the counter → 10% off today's bill. Code valid today only.

Next-visit reward or instant perk

For businesses where customers pay up front: hotels, bowling, go-karts, cinemas, museums, golf, car washes, classes. Survey before they leave; reward on the next visit, or an on-the-spot perk.

Example: survey at checkout → 15% off your next stay, good 90 days. Or: late checkout today.

Milestone reward

For professionals and high-ticket services: attorneys, CPAs, advisors, contractors, real estate. Survey at a milestone (after the consultation, at closing), by a link you hand over.

Example: survey after closing → $100 credit toward your next invoice, good 12 months, transferable to a friend.

Car dealerships: two lanes

Service customers get a checkout reward. Shoppers get a survey after the test drive, and a second one after the purchase, each with a reward that brings them into your service department.

Example: test drive → free first oil change. Purchase → free detail with your first service. You see exactly how the paperwork and negotiation felt.

Common Questions

Is Go Smart! free to use as a shopper?

Yes. Always. No app, no account, no personal information. Businesses pay us a small fee when you redeem a reward; you never pay anything.

Is my survey anonymous?

Yes. We don't ask for your name, email or phone. The business sees your answers and your written comment, not who you are. We keep a one-way hashed record to prevent duplicate submissions, nothing more.

Why does the survey only open when I'm at the business?

Because the business is paying for feedback about a real visit, and honest, specific feedback is the whole point. Your phone's location, or the QR card at the counter, confirms you're there. We don't store your location.

How long is my code good for?

It depends on the reward. A checkout reward is valid that day, before you pay. A next-visit reward is typically good for 30 to 180 days; the exact window is shown with your code. Each code is single use.

What does "Sample listing" mean?

While we build our network, some listings show real local businesses as examples of how their deal would look. They haven't joined yet, so there's no reward to unlock there today. If you know the owner, tap Nominate and we'll reach out.

How much does it cost to list my business?

Listing is free, and so is the setup: we build your profile, survey and counter card. You pay a small per-redemption fee only when a customer completes a survey and redeems the reward. No monthly fee, no contract.

What kind of rewards can I offer?

Anything that's easy for your staff to honor: a percentage or dollar amount off, a free item or add-on, a free upgrade or perk, a credit toward a future service. We'll suggest a reward that fits your business, and you can change it any time from your dashboard.

Is Go Smart! available in my city?

We're launching in Salem, Keizer and Portland, Oregon, and in Chicago, Illinois, and adding businesses every week. If you're a business owner elsewhere in the US, list your business and we'll let you know when we open your area.

What is the Go Smart! Verified badge?

A badge earned after a mystery-shopper visit and quality check. Verified businesses get prominent placement in search results and a trust signal shoppers can filter by.
